Annual Spring Grants Conference (POSTPONED)


7th Annual Spring Grants Conference presented by the Utah Area Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association on the campus of Southern Utah University – Student Center (351 W University Blvd, Cedar City).

Cost and Registration: $75 or $50 for GPA members (includes breakfast and lunch).  Register by February 21, 2020, to receive a $10 discount. Registration closes March 12, 2020.  https://tinyurl.com/grantconf20.

This one-day conference will provide learning and networking opportunities for anyone with an interest in grants development or the grants profession. New and experienced grant professionals are invited to attend, with a special invitation extended to individuals involved in K-12 and higher education; the arts; local, county, or state government entities; or other non-profit organizations.

This year’s topics include multiple breakout sessions, including presentations by the U.S. Census Bureau, and a keynote address by Lisa Arnette on Persuasive Writing for Grant Professionals. Arnette is a veteran fundraising professional who has committed herself to strengthening the nonprofit sector. Over the course of 25 years, she has worked in varying disciplines, including higher and secondary education, arts and museums, public broadcasting, and international health. Her experience includes comprehensive fundraising programs, nonprofit volunteer and board management, and marketing and public relations.
