SUU - Guided Tours
Southern Utah University 125th Birthday Celebration: SUU Repository begins at 7:00 pm meet at the lower level of the SUU Library (351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). Admission is FREE and open to everyone. If you love history, and the American Southwest, or need an interesting night out, make sure to come. The SUU Archaeology Repository stores artifacts recovered from archaeological surveys and excavations conducted on federal and state lands in southwestern Utah and the Arizona Strip since the early 1960s.
It is a research center for professionals and students who are studying prehistoric cultures located in this region. During the visit, participants will learn the purpose of the repository, look at prehistoric and historic artifacts stored at the facility, and learn about the prehistory of southwestern Utah.
In celebration of Southern Utah University’s 125th Birthday, guided tours will showcase the University as never before. Come explore the past, present, and future of SUU.
