SUU: Lecture

SUU: Lecture

The Tanner Center is excited to announce that Geena Davis will be giving the fall 2022 Grace A. Tanner Lecture in Human Values as they close their celebration of “The Year of Grace.” Her lecture will be followed by a Q&A moderated by acclaimed arts leader and Utah Shakespeare Festival actor and director, SUU alumna Melinda Pfundstein.

In addition to her film career, Genna Davis was involved in seminal work in terms of expanding gender representation in the media. I have included a link to the trailer of her documentary “This Changes Everything.”

The Tanner Center is hoping for a great turnout for her visit. The lecture will take place on Thursday, October 6 from 11:30-12:30 in the Gilbert Great Hall of the Hunter Alumni Center. If you have any questions, you can contact Danielle Dubrasky, Director of the Grace A. Tanner Center in Human Values at dubrasky@suu.edu or (435) 865-8138.
