WBC: Exploring Possibilities Conference
The Women’s Business Center of Utah is pleased to announce our fifth annual Exploring Possibilities Conference held 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Courtyard by Marriott (1294 S Interstate Dr, Cedar City). Admission cost is $55.
The theme for this year’s conference is Aspire to Do Great Things! Participants will enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by the Courtyard by Marriott chef following the afternoon sessions.
The event will feature Nicole Tanner, founder of Swig, as keynote speaker. “The booming beverage brand Swig launched in 2010 in St. George, Utah, after owner and founder Nicole Tanner brainstormed the idea for a drive-by drink shop. Customers fast became loyalists, and it didn’t take long before the Home of the Original Dirty Soda made a clean sweep across Utah. Swig’s story has been made even sweeter with Save The Cups. Nicole is a breast cancer survivor herself, and she is now on a mission to help other breast cancer patients.” – excerpt from Swig website
There will also be a panel discussion, a networking activity, and the announcement of the Southern Utah Entrepreneur of the Year. Beverages will be provided during the afternoon sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to visit and shop local vendor booths or take a fun photo in the photo booth.
Following dinner, there will be an opportunity drawing. The drawing will include gift cards, gift certificates, gift baskets, free services, and more from local businesses in southern and eastern Utah. One FREE drawing ticket per participant. Additional tickets for the drawing are available online when you register or in person on the day of the event.
All proceeds from the conference will go towards WBCUtah training, free business advising consultations, online training, events, and rural outreach. This annual conference helps expand the Women’s Business Center of Utah services to the 14 counties they serve through the southern office.
