Cedar City Downtown Lighting Ceremony

Cedar City Downtown Lighting Ceremony: Where the Magic Begins will begin at 4:00 pm on Downtown Main Street in front of the Cedar City Offices (10 N Main St, Cedar City). At 4 pm Food Trucks will open, 4:15 pm pre-show events begin, including a tree decorating contest with the Iron County Care & Share, 5:15 pm the official program begins, & at 6:00 pm Santa arrives & the lights will be turned on.

Holiday Tree Jubilee

5th Annual Holiday Tree Jubilee held 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Heritage Center Theater (105 N 100 E, Cedar City), $25 Family Donation. Come see Santa and an amazing display of decorated Christmas trees to help kick off the holiday season! All proceeds go to our local kids and teens in need. Along with Santa and the Holiday Trees, everyone can enjoy FREE professional Christmas photographs, FREE hot chocolate, dozens of Christmas trees to view and WIN, auction items, a children’s area, and much more! Funds raised will go to local Homeless and At-Risk Teens and other local children and families who need a little extra help at Christmas.

Parowan Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland is held 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm in the Parowan Main Street Park (S Main Street, Parowan). Admission is FREE. The Parowan City Park is turned into an enticing wonderland of Christmas lights, incredible displays, Christmas Characters, Santa, and hot chocolate. Remember to paint a free ornament to hang in the tunnel while you are there. The lights will be turned on every night from dusk until 10 pm, and special events and characters join on Saturdays while supplies last. Bring the whole family for a winter wonderland of holiday lights.

Pink Christmas Utah

The 10th Annual Pink Christmas is held from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm at Cedar High School (703 W 600 S, Cedar City). Come and enjoy a talent show, silent auction, and bake sale. 100% of all proceeds made during the event are directly given to the beneficiaries chosen each year and no funds are kept by any member of the Pink Christmas Committee.

Pink Christmas is an event intended to help patients who have financial and are battling all types of cancer.

Red Acre Christmas & Home Tour

A Red Acre Christmas Tour of the Farmhouse will be from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at Red Acre Farm (2322 W 4375 N, Cedar City). Once a year, Red Acre opens the Farmhouse for tours. The house will be decked out for the holidays and will include vintage elves, four decorated trees, antique Santa mugs, nativity scenes, and more. All proceeds support our non-profit sister organization Red Acre Center for Food & Agriculture a 501(c). 

Tickets are $8 per person and are available on eventbrite.com.

10th Annual Red Acre Christmas will be held from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at Red Acre Farm (2322 W 4375 N, Cedar City). Sip complimentary hot cider while you walk a real working farm, warm your hands by the fire, roast marshmallows, take pictures at all the photo ops, shop the Farm Stand, take a buggy ride ($5 per person), try traditional candle dipping ($4 each), purchase food from the Farm Kitchen, and more.

Sweet Pea Farm: Christmas Story Time

Sweet Pea Farm: Christmas Story Time is held 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at Sweet Pea Farm and Orchard (136 S 600 W, Parowan). FREE and open to everyone. Join for a Christmas Story read by holiday characters Fridays in Parowan. The Farmstand will be open with fresh Hot Cocoa & Holiday Treats. sweetpeafarmandorchard.com.

Laughing All The Way

Laughing All The Way is held 6:00 pm in the Heritage Center Theater (105 N 100 E, Cedar City). Tickets are $30 general admission, group, and discount tickets are available at ourturtlehouse.com/events/cedar-city/. Spirit of the Season

Johnson Arts Center presents ‘Spirit of the Season’ held from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Johnson Center for the Arts (59 N 100 W, Cedar City). There is no admission cost. Come and enjoy food trucks, entertainment, a holiday sing-a-long, and the lighting of a Christmas Tree located next to the Johnson Center. Remember to decorate (or write a wish) on the provided ornaments and place it on the tree. Soda Nerd will be serving Hot Chocolate and Santa will be there to visit with the kids.

Holidays at the Homestead

Frontier Homestead: Holidays at the Homestead is held 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Frontier Homestead State Park (635 N Main St, Cedar City), the cost is $2 per person or $8 per family. Enjoy holiday-themed activities, crafts, and entertainment. Santa Claus will be making a special stop here at the museum to listen to Christmas wishes during the event. Spirit of Christmas Festival

Stratum Real Estate Group: 8th Annual Spirit of Christmas Festival held 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Stratum Real Estate (365 S Main St, Cedar City) admission is FREE.
