Winter in Southern Utah brings snow-covered mountains, cozy cafes, charming small-town experiences and plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure. From November through May, use this three-day itinerary to plan your winter getaway, but make sure to check road conditions as it can change quickly.
When to Visit: November - May

DAY ONE: SNOW DAY IN BRIAN HEAD
MORNING + AFTERNOON
Start your morning with a cup of hot cocoa from the Brian Head General Store before heading to the slopes. Spend the morning skiing or snowboarding at Navajo or Giant Steps, two popular areas for enjoying Brian Head's snowy terrain. Want to ski and explore both mountains? Shuttles make it easy to travel between the two, so you can enjoy more time on the slopes.
Take a break for lunch at Last Chair Grill and Brews before heading back out for some more snowy fun. Looking for an adventure beyond the ski slopes? Book a guided snowmobile tour with Thunder Mountain Motorsports or laces up your skates for some ice skating at Brian Head Ice.
EVENING
After a full day in the snow, settle in for dinner at Brian Head Lodge. Wind down with a soak in the hot tub or cozy up beside the fireplace for a relaxing evening in the mountains.

DAY TWO: EXPERIENCE PAROWAN
MORNING + AFTERNOON
Begin your day with coffee and fresh pastries from Southern Country Bakery before spending the rest of the morning exploring Parowan's rich history. Visit local landmarks like the Old Rock Church and Jesse Smith Home Museum to discover more about the town's past and pioneer history.
When lunchtime rolls around, stop at Pacos Family Diner for a classic American lunch of burgers and fries. Then, spend the afternoon browsing downtown shops for holiday gifts, handmade treasures, and unique finds. Explore places like Old Crow Basics, Sweet Pea Farm & Orchard, Bev's Floral & Gifts, Shirtzilla vs Hatsquatch, and Parowan Drug are worth your time as you stroll through town.

MORNING + AFTERNOON
Start your final day with a seasonal latte from Mountain Peak Coffee before heading out to enjoy the winter landscape and scenery.
