4. Arts, Galleries, and Ceramics in Cedar City
Visit the Southern Utah Museum of Art and local art galleries in Downtown before attending a ceramics class at Shape Theory Ceramics.
5. Dinner, Treats, and an Adventure in Parowan
The cutest little small town, Parowan, is also a great place for a quiet date-night adventure! Grab dinner from a local spot and a cinnamon roll before driving to Parowan Gap to look at the petroglyphs.
6. The Bard + Beautiful Starry Skies
Catch an evening performance at the Utah Shakespeare Festival (June - October) and then stargaze after with a short drive to Kolob Canyons.
7. Mountain Bike in Town and Grab Lunch
Bike the Iron Hills Trail System on the south end of town before grabbing lunch from a local spot nearby. There are great restaurants just minutes away!
8. Hike in Cedar Breaks National Monument
Find wildflowers along the Alpine Pond Trail or stunning amphitheater views with a hike along the South Rim Trail. Then stay to catch a sunset at the Sunset Overlook.
9. Go to a Farm Breakfast and Shop the Farm Store After
We have some INCREDIBLE local farms to visit! Grab breakfast at Sweet Pea Farm & Orchard or Red Acre Farm. Then take a Farm Store tour with some other local spots! We recommend: Nature Hills Farm, Red Acre Farm, Sweet Pea Farm & Orchard, and The Barn Farmstore @ BbarH.
10. Take an ATV Adventure at Three Peaks Recreation Area
The views? Amazing. The vibes? Fantastic. The adventures? Limitless! Three Peaks is such a great spot for an outdoor adventure date! You can play disc golf, take ATVs out and about, stargaze, rock climb, hike, mountain bike, or just explore all within the same space.
11. Gear Up and Take A Hike
Sometimes it's nice to just get outside and take a hike with someone you love. There are some great trails around us for a unique experience for your next hiking date. Grab permits and hike the Kanarra Falls Trail, or check out the Taylor Creek Trail in Kolob Canyons. Stroll the Cedar Canyon trail for a paved option near town, or find cool rock formations along the Thor's Hideout Trail.
12. Disc Golf and Dessert
There are two disc golf courses in Cedar City, one in Parowan Canyon and one in Brian Head. They're all fun with different landscapes and challenges, and some great dessert options nearby each one! In Cedar City stop by Dippers, Ganache-d, or The French Spot. Don't skip the cinnamon rolls and other baked goods at Southern Country Chevron and Bakery in Parowan. Mountain Peak Cafe in Brian Head has amazing cookies and the Brian Head General Store sells Brian Berry pies.
