The trail switchbacks up through the red rock formations (referred to as hoodoos) to a large rock platform with scenic views into a deep canyon and across the canyon to Noah’s Ark formation.
Trailhead location: From Parowan, take National Scenic Hwy 143, approximately 3 miles to FR #049 in First Left Hand Canyon. Follow beyond Vermillion Campground entrance, 200 yards. The trailhead is on the north side of the road.
Trail Tips: Dogs friendly, leashes required.
