It's raining it's pouring, but Cedar City is always worth exploring!

In the high desert a rainy day is never a bad thing, but it does mean that sometimes plans need adjusting. Luckily Cedar City is home to more than just incredible outdoor recreation. Here are 5 of our favorite ways to spend a rainy day while still exploring the wonders waiting in our backyard.

5. Enjoy a Scenic Drive to Kolob Canyons

It's amazing what a little fall of rain can do to draw out the incredible colors found throughout the north side of Zion National Park! After it rains is one of our favorite times to plan a visit to Kolob Canyons and enjoy the beautiful scenic drive. The canyon is shaped in rugged red sandstone cliffs that draw the eye and make a stunning backdrop.
