The perfect trip awaits you.

An integral part of the Southern Utah experience involves getting outside and experiencing the diverse wilderness of our mountains, deserts, canyons and rivers. Outdoor adventures both large and small involve specialized knowledge, strategy, craft, safety and not to mention those secret spots known only by those who frequent every nook and cranny of the area. This is why it’s always best to go with a guide. With the right guidance and proper equipment, you can focus on challenging yourself and having fun. Please review the list of guides and outfitters below to match your desired adventure with our experts.

Choose from several pet boarding places and find a safe and friendly spot for your cat, dog—even horses—to relax and play!!

Shop like a local in Cedar City’s historic downtown with antique stores, coffee houses, local restaurants, an old time soda fountain, quaint shops, regional arts & crafts shops, and a unique music store. Historical buildings in the district include the Old Post Office, The Rock Church and the Union Pacific Railroad Depot. Open all year with most shops open Monday – Saturday. The shopping district includes the area of Main Street from 200 North to University Blvd.

Take some time to pamper yourself and relax at one of Cedar City’s spas, massage centers or yoga studios.

    FLY CEDAR CITY

The Cedar City Regional Airport is the most convenient airport for travelers visiting Cedar City, Brian Head, Bryce Canyon, Zion and Cedar Breaks. The Cedar City Airport is within one mile of downtown Cedar City and most hotels provide airport transportation. The central location of the Cedar City Airport, the lack of airport congestion and quick pass through at baggage claim and car rental makes it a breeze to be on your way to enjoying your vacation. And there are very short lines at check-in when you catch your flight out of town. By flying into Cedar City, rather than Salt Lake City or Las Vegas, you will save the hassle of long lines, plus the extra costs and travel time of driving to and from these airports (Salt Lake to Cedar City is 4 hours and 3 hours for Las Vegas).

Daily jet service is available into the Cedar City Municipal Airport through the Salt Lake City-based Delta Connection. Consult your travel agent, search your travel booking site, or call Skywest Airlines/Delta Connnection at (800) 211-1212 or visit www.delta.com to book your flight.

    GENERAL AVIATION

Fixed Base Operation (FBO) services are available for general aviation aircraft and charter flights. Sphere One is the Fixed Base Operator for the Cedar City Airport and can be contacted at (435) 586-4504. For statistical data concerning the Cedar City Airport, please visit www.airnav.com/airport/KCDC. An additional resource for statistical data can be found at www.globalair.com. The airport is served daily by United Parcel Service, Fed-Ex and Pony Express.
