5 Attractions We Love To Visit in Fall
Frontier Homestead State Park Museum
Step back in time with a visit to this Utah heritage state park. Between their interactive exhibits, a large carriage collection, and historic homes/homestead, Frontier Homestead is a great place for an afternoon wander in fall.
Where: 635 North Main Street, Cedar City, UT
Admission: $4 per person
Southern Utah Museum of Art
A state-of-the-art art museum in the center of Historic Downtown, the Southern Utah Museum of Art is a must-see destination in Cedar City. In fall this is a great place to explore as their rotating exhibits are always vibrant and beautiful and with an indoor space, regardless of the weather it's great to explore.
Where: 13 South 300 West, Cedar City, Utah
Admission: FREE
Parowan Disc Golf Course
At the mouth of Parowan Canyon and minutes from Parowan town, this disc golf course packs some surprising challenges with a red rock background and high desert terrain.
Navajo Lake - Scenic Drive and Hiking
Tucked away among aspens and towering evergreens on Cedar Mountain (in Dixie National Forest) Navajo Lake is one of our favorite local places to escape to for some mountain air and relaxation. This freshwater lake is a beautiful blue, reflecting clouds and bright skies and the Navajo Lake Loop Trail can be shortened for an afternoon walk through the lava fields.
Beverley Center Sculpture Court and Shakespeare Character Garden
While the Beverley Center is best known for being home to the Utah Shakespeare Festival and the Southern Utah Museum of Art, the sculptures throughout deserve their own highlight. The two sculpture courts at the Beverley are the Stillman Sculpture Court (pictured) and the Pederson Character Garden.
