Summer Activities & Local Attractions
With a mini zip-line, mountain biking, an alpine slide, and more in the summer, the fun never stops at Brian Head Resort! Here you can entertain your inner adrenaline junkie with scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, and a bungee trampoline. If you’re up for a physical challenge, spend the day at the climbing wall and then ride your cares away at the alpine tubing hill. Round-trip shuttle service is available by local shuttle companies to take you to over 200 miles of backcountry and downhill trails, and the Brian Head Resort chairlift provides access on weekends to incredible trails.
You can find lodging and dining options that best fit your group’s needs and even rent a couple of off-road vehicles from Utah Atv Rentals for an OHV adventure like no other through the sights of Dixie National Forest. Or explore backcountry mountain bike trails through unique terrain with mountain bike rentals, and a shuttle, from the local shop Georg’s Ski Shop.
A short drive away from Cedar Breaks National Monument and Navajo Lake, you can easily fill your extended stay with some high country adventure. Hike along the rim of the stunning red rock amphitheater at Cedar Breaks, spend the day on a paddleboard, fishing, or swimming at Navajo Lake, and when you’re done for the day return to Brian Head for incredible dining and stargazing opportunities.
Local Tip: Cedar Breaks National Monument received International Dark Sky Recognition in 2017, making it one of the darkest and best places in the world for stargazing. Many nighttime visitors to Cedar Breaks National Monument get to see more stars than they’ve ever seen in their lives… even when the moon is out!
